‘Chhota Bheem’ is among the most watched animated series in the nation. The live-action adaptation of “Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan” was revealed by the makers in honour of the franchise’s 15th anniversary. On September 13, the movie’s teaser was also made available.

Over ten years have passed since the premiere of the animated movie “Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan.” The creators have now revealed the live-action adaptation of the same. Makarand Deshpande and Anupam Kher will play important roles in the movie. On September 13, a Wednesday, the movie’s trailer was unveiled.

Anupam Kher plays Guru Shambhu, Makarand Deshapande plays Skandhi, and Yagya Bhasin plays the title role in the live-action film “Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan.” Surabhi Tiwari plays Tuntun Mausi in the movie, and Aashriya Mishra plays Chutki. Rajiv Chilaka, who penned and oversaw the 2012 original animated picture, is the director.

 

A legendary status among the younger Indian audience has been attained by the animated wonder kid Chhota Bheem. The small character has gained a devoted following among those who grew up watching the well-liked TV shows made for Pogo TV. Following The Throne of Bali and The Curse of Damyaan, Chhota Bheem Himalayan Adventure is the third book to be released.

For those who are unfamiliar with the series, Chhota Bheem, his pals Chutki, Raju, and Kalia, as well as Dholu, Bholu, and Jaggu the monkey, reside in the made-up town of Dholakpur, which is controlled by King Indravarma. This edition has the princess of Dholakpur, Indumati, expressing her wish to play games of adventure in the snow. The entire group then departs for the Himalayan kingdom of Manali.

Unfortunately, Manali is constantly under siege from the formidable and evil bandit Hidimbak and his group throughout this time. One day, Hidimbak hopes to rule the area. It is therefore prohibited to enter the Himalayan state. A Manali soldier named Dhiru feels bad for the royal family. He advises that they continue to enjoy winter sports on his father’s land on the outskirts of Manali, and he gives his dog Juju instructions to guide them to Sardar Negi. It is predictable what comes next. After learning to ski, the kids and the bandit soon square off.

Simple and aimless, the plot revolves around lessons learned in life and enjoyable skiing. The screenplay and plot are straightforward, easy to follow, and heavily emphasise the adventures in the Himalayan region, despite being loaded with lengthy exposition. Furthermore, the thrilling action scenes are packed with pleasure.

The majority of the phrases are parodies of well-known lines from Hindi films, and they are delivered with the same tenor and tone as the originals, giving it a distinct Bollywood feel. Both the rap song Himachal ka Raja hu main and the tune Zip, zap, zoop are vivid and upbeat. They maintain spectator interest while interjecting variety into the action.

A vibrant colour scheme fills the screen. Even with today’s advanced digital technology, the 2D animation remains visually captivating while being a little outdated. Despite being unprofessional, the movie offers its youthful viewers an entertaining adventure.

CONCERNING THE TEASER

The teaser depicts Chhota Bheem travelling back in time by a millennium. Anupam Kher’s Guru Shambhu and his group aid Bheem in his battle against evil. After that, the action scenes featuring Bheem are shown with a pulsating soundtrack.
